At now, The Realme GT is the highest-end product of the new Realme GT smartphone series. I have been using the phone for almost a week, and it can easily be found that the GT is not a top-of-the-line flagship murderer with wireless charging and IP rating capabilities. Rather, it is more a premium offering that is designed to provide you with the best features at a competitive price. The Realme GT was a great all-rounder in my experience, save for some small niggles.

In India, the Realme GT price

The Realme GT genuinely shines at pricing. In India, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 887 soC is the most affordable smartphone with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, priced at Rs. 37.999 and with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage (which I tested) at 41.999 Rs. of the highest standard. There is a very huge price gap between the two options but both RAM and extra storage are provided. In fact, costs for the identical settings are lower even if compared to smartphones like as iQoo 7 Legend and OnePlus 9R.

Things get somewhat confusing, though, based on how much you desire, since the high-end version is only available in Racing Yellow trim, with vegan leather, while the basic version is only available in Dashing Silver and Dashing Blue.

The design of the Realme GT

The camera module only comes out from the back, so that when placed on a flat surface, the Realme GT doesn't waver much.

The Realme GT is equipped with a 6.43" Super AMOLED screen with an auto-camera cutout. On the left, right, and top, it includes thin bezels, however, the bottom one is slightly denser. The reader of the fingerprint is integrated into the display and functions consistently.

The Racing Yellow Finish's yellow and black color pattern was created to keep Realme's mind on the youth. The cheaper form of this phone may also be found for people who want something more inconspicuous in Dashing Blue and Dashing Silver. In this pricing range, the Realme GT was on par with the remaining smartphones. In AnTuTu, the results were 8,02,974, and in single and multi-core Geekbench tests, 1.138 and 3,408.

Gaming was pretty nice, most games operating in the maximum possible settings. The Realme GT was moderately heated, but only when the back panel was chilly could this be sensed. The telephone has "GT mode" as in the GT Master Edition. Turning it from the shade of notices made no significant change on the games I've played, however, it raised Realme GT's temperature somewhat.

I played Call of Duty: Mobile, and the frame rate operated nicely without stuttering. Asphalt 9: Legends also did a good job in their high-quality graphics and enabled 60fps.

The battery of 4,500mAh has lasted me around two days incidentally and about a day and a half, which is really decent. The Realme GT was also good in our 18 hours and 42 minute HD video loop battery test. The 65W charger is powerful, fast, and takes your phone in around 35 minutes from a dead battery to full charging.

Cameras from Realme GT

The Realme GT has 3 back-mounted cameras and one front-mounted camera. A primary 64 MP camera, an ultra-wide-angle 8 MP camera, and a 2 MP macro camera are included. The selfie tasks of the front 16-megapixel camera are handled. The camera app's interface is the same as the apps we saw with all critical buttons at the top and the submenus to modify frames or video resolution on most recent Realme devices. The user interface was a bit distressing as I nearly always mistakenly touched the AI button when trying to make certain the settings that were less accessible.

Photos shot with the primary camera were clean and clear in the daylight, but even in AI mode, a bit over-saturated. Some people may prefer this vibrant palette since it gives life to normal pictures, however, I found the colours to be a bit too much. Even on the Realme GT Master Edition, I had noticed this. There was a fair dynamic range in both the dark and bright photo sections, with enough detail. The primary camera focused quickly, but it took a couple more seconds after the camera modes had been shifted.

The main camera was also nicely done by low-lit and controlled good shots under street lighting with minimal noise. I normally only had to fire up the night mode in extremely dimly lit surroundings and it was good to show more detail in darker scenic regions and to reduce the noise.

The camera captured clear photographs from the ultra-wide-angle in daylight. The details in the centre of the frame were crisper, with the border becoming somewhat blurred. I also saw a little violet fringe towards the photographs' margins. However, in low light, the ultra-wide camera can't be used until you switch to night mode. The 2-megapixel macro camera was not precisely functional, as the primary camera was used to obtain better photographs.

Videos shot in 1080 and 4K at 30 fps looked impressively lively, detailed and stabilised. The 60fps video also exhibited good quality, but the frame was cut so as to nearly appear zoomed into. This is probably done to help the stabilisation (which is very good) but it was tough to frame. The videos will be shot at 60 fps and there is also apparent lilac fringing.

The main camera has done an amazingly good job in low-lighted videos, with a lower dynamic range, perceptible noise and minor shimmering. When the AI mode is activated, the Night Video mode is an effective way to bring out details and reduce noise in the darkest areas. Although the capability of the camera software is outstanding, colours get excessively saturated according to the luminous surroundings. This feature could be more usable if some fine-tuning is required.

Final Verdict of the Realme GT

If you go with the basic, which is priced at Rs 37.999, Realme GT delivers fantastic value for money. This means that simply a glass will be returned and vegan leather will not be selected. In comparison to the contest, the RAM 12GB (Rs. 41,999) model falls slightly short. The Mi 11X Pro (Review) (from Rs. 39,999), there's no 8K recording and there is no IP rating.

The iQoo 7 Legend (Rs. 39,990) also represents an honourable competitor and, considering the price, is a solid performer. In addition, the camera's setup and premium build quality are excellent, but its smaller battery may not fit certain purchasers. Even with Rs. 41,999, the higher-end version is all-rounder, offering extremely speedy charging and a fantastic overall operating experience.
